Downtown Kelowna Dog Photo Session

The Okanagan is known for gorgeous landscapes, beaches, and mountains, but I wanted to talk about photographing sessions downtown as it is such an interesting and cool place to do your photo session. I love the downtown area of Kelowna because we can start a session in an area with amazing architecture or a fun area with apple crates (which is such an Okanagan thing) and end it downtown at the beautiful waterfront. You really can get a lot of variety in your gallery with a downtown location.

Jack and Tucker loved hanging out and seeing all the sights and sounds of downtown during their pet photo session and totally rocked their session!

Keeping your dog on-leash during a session is very important for safety, and is especially important during a session in the urban downtown area, because there is lots of traffic passing by. Don’t worry though - because I can remove all the leashes in editing. All of these images of Jack and Tucker were taken with the dogs on-leash and edited out later.

If you want to change it up and try an urban location for your photo session, you will not regret it!
