Traditional vs. Candid Photos during a Family Photo Session

When I photograph your family, I always like to capture candid or more lifestyle photos, but also more traditional portraits. I know that you may want portraits of everyone looking at the camera, so always have these poses during a photo session. I always want to give you a variety of both traditional and candid photographs, and you can choose your favourite photographs for your artwork and to display in your home.

These are some of my favourite photos from this family’s session and they are a mix of both traditional portraits and candid photographs. There are always some more traditional individual portraits of kids included in a family session. I also capture moments where your family is just being you and capture the connections in your family. During the session, the kids can get silly if they want, have fun, and let their personalities show. Some of the most amazing photographs are captured during these candid moments.
