What should you wear to a photo session?

I want to talk a little bit about what to wear to a photo session - whether it is a family photo session or a photo session with your pet (and you are going to be in the photos).

Well, my biggest suggestion is always to wear something comfortable and something that really reflects your style - you want to wear something that you love. Long flowy dresses can look beautiful in photographs (especially against all of the beautiful Okanagan landscapes), but if you hate wearing dresses (like I do), you aren’t going to be comfortable (and won’t look comfortable), and you are going to look back and wonder why you wore it. Pick your wardrobe and your family’s wardrobe based on what you love to wear, and then try to choose coordinating colours and patterns to each other.

When you book a session, I always send out some other clothing recommendations by email before the session, and am always available to help offer feedback on wardrobe choices if needed.
