Pet Session at the Beach

Such a beautiful and cloudy evening with Norman and Sophie at their beach session here in Kelowna! They really are two of the sweetest pups!

If you are thinking about a pet session and aren’t sure if it is right for you, this is what you can expect in a session. After your pup gets used to being at the location & me and my camera, I almost always start with some more traditional portraits and mix in some more lifestyle photos like your pups walking with you. I am always capturing moments though, even in between the poses, so you will always get a lot of variety in your gallery. After the portraits, I love to capture your pets just being themselves. For Norman & Sophie, this was definitely time in the water and running around. Toys and treats are a big hit with pups at a session as it definitely can get their attention, but incorporating their favourite toys (like Norman’s orange ball) into the photographs are also super special as it is something that they love and that you will want to remember.

Last, but definitely not least, I do love to capture some memories of you and your pet together. If you aren’t wanting to be in the photos, maybe it is just your hands in the photo with your dog, or your dog at your feet. I think that you being present in the photos is so important though, as your pet is your family and a part of your story, and I want you to see all of the love you have for your pet in your photos.
